Dan Young grew up in Washington MO. He always enjoyed the outdoors and radio. He has been working in radio since 1997,
Dan can be heard on KRNT 1350AM every Wednesday in afternoon drive from 5:00 to 7:00pm or Sunday Nights 5:00 to 7:00pm. On Praise 940 am every Thusday at 5:00pm from Des Moines Iowa. Dan is the host of the "KMOX Outdoors Show" on Sunday nights 7:00 to 8:00pm. On KMOX 1120 AM The sports Voice of St. Louis, that hits over 40 states! You can see Dan on KCCI Channel 8 News the #1 rated news in the state of Iowa, every Thursday morning around 7:35am for an Outdoors Dan Report. Starting in July 2007 Dan's TV show "Outdoors Traditions TV" seen weekly on FOX-17, and on Fox Sports Network across the country through December.

Doug is the author of two books: Boxes, Rockets, and Pens: A History Of Wildlife Restoration In Tennessee, and The Complete Tennessee Angler (co-authored with Vernon Summerlin). He is a 2004 inductee into MTSU’s Journalism Wall Of Fame. He is also the past president of both the Southeastern and the Tennessee outdoor writers associations. He was the Tennessee Wildlife Federation’s Conservation Communicator of the Year in 2002. Listen to his show LIVE every Saturday on Super Talk 99.7 WTN, Nashville, TN. The best part of Outdoors With Doug Markham is segments with his guests. The show isn’t about Doug, but rather emphasizes interviews with far more consummate anglers and hunters.
