Steve Williams was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and grew up boating on the Mississippi River and at the Lake of the Ozarks.  Steve married his wife, Terri, buying a home on the East side in Collinsville, Illinois where they spent many weekends boating with their original Redneck Yacht Club friends out on Lake Carlyle.
Since moving to Nashville, Tn. in 1995, Steve has had cuts by Buddy Jewell, Craig Morgan, Trick Pony, Steve Holy and others. Steve has been performing since the age of 14.  At sixteen he was a regular performer at Lake Ozark, Missouri's famed Tan-Tar-A resort.  His vocal style has been likened to James Taylor. Steve's new CD, "I Get To" can be purchased on the CD link page of this website. He continues to enjoy the lake, writing many of his ideas while anchored at a cove on Percy Priest Lake.  What cove?  Why...Party Cove!  Where else?  Look for his cruiser!
